The Eggbase Carbon Footprint Calculator was used by Stonegate Farmers for their ‘Respectful Egg’ brand, the UK’s first carbon neutral egg.
With the launch of their ‘Planet Friendly Egg’, Morrisons became the first supermarket to launch their own egg brand sourced from carbon neutral production farms. Carbon footprinting was provided by Eggbase.
Working with LIDL, Duncan Farms launched Woodcote Responsible Free-Range Eggs, which have a 57% lower carbon footprint compared with their 2021 free range baseline. Reduced emissions throughout the life cycle, were assessed by Eggbase.
