Eggbase Working In Partnership With Hendrix Genetics

Using the Eggbase Carbon Footprinting Tool, we collected, analysed and compared carbon emissions data for white and brown layer flocks, in a series of scenarios designed to establish which create the lowest emissions.

The findings showed that white flock carbon emissions are, on average, 6% lower than for brown flocks. The full findings will be published in an article to be released in the April version of Hendrix Genetics’ Layer Vision magazine.
